“Pain: What is pain? Why we have it? And how to get past it?”
Are you tired of feeling pain in your body? Are you sick of feeling anxious, pent up, stressed, or wound up? Have you been told that you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromylgia? I know what this feels like and I know how to solve it as well. A simple shift in reference is all you need.
In this article I’am going to tell you what pain is, why it’s in the body, where it comes from, and how to get through it.
But first before I can share this with you I need to flip your perspective a bit on how you see yourself. Don’t see yourself as a person! Your not a person! You are an energy! Your consciousness and a person right now is manifested in front of that consciousness. You energies are who you really are. You are a consciousness, floating and experiencing the world. Your thoughts tell you that you’re a person because your consciousness is focused on this body, and thoughts and emotions and then you say to yourself, “This is me!” It isn’t. You’re an energy whose consciousness is temporarily focused around a human. That human has thoughts emotions and physical sensations but you are the presence behind all of that. Observing it all. It’s just that your emotions and thoughts and daily living habits suck you back into a routine of some sort and you forget that you’re the presence in which all that occurs, or consciousness. Now how does this relate to pain?
Pain is the signal from the body that rises up into your consciousness informing your mind that something is wrong. Pain is nothing more than contraction. It is the opposite of expansion.
All of life wants to expand. What happens when a person feels joyful or triumphant. What position does their body take? They open up or expand out. This what people try to do in yoga. They open their body up through stretches to feel expansive and connected to all. It obliterates the mind. Pain is contraction in the body, it’s tightness, it’s wound up. What do we say when a person is anxious? Loosen up! Relax! Unwind! You experience pain in the body because there is something that your mind is attached to it. So it grips and grips itself around whatever it is in fear of losing. It can be a relationship, a job, or anything in the external. This gripping fear and resulting pain happens because we mistake our external world for our internal. Our point of orientation is backwards. We think it is these things in the outside world that is giving us these internal feelings of pleasure or happiness or bliss. It’s not!
All of it happening within you. If you where to let go of your whole world now, your mind, your thoughts, your emotions, and just die to yourself you would feel absolutely blissful and at peace.
This happens for many at the time of death. The body of a person starts dying and they get scared and then they start to realize wait, “I’am not this body, I’am not this mind, I’am not these emotions.” And BAM self realization happens! I was never any of these things! My whole life I missed it.
Consciousness can never be born or die. It simply is. I was always the space that my body, mind, emotions happened within. When you learn to identify with consciousness and not the body then you can go under the layers of your mental and emotional conditioning and clear pain like it’s dust on a floor out of your body.
So how to clear pain from your being? Most of us have pain, aches, and sores within our bodies. However, we never give them the time or attention they deserve. Why not? Because we just need to continue to keep moving on through life. But what you forget is that everytime you experience a trauma of some sort, whether it be emotional, mental, or physical trauma you lose a part of your consciousness or soul in that moment.
You see consciousness doesn’t just exist in the here and now. It gets trapped in other places and spaces.
Let’s say when you were 5 years old you friend pushed you off the top of the playground. Your body smacks the ground and you get the wind knocked out of you and you experience back pain. You feel the physical pain of the fall and you feel the emotional pain of your friend pushing you. You run away inside crying for your mom. Now you grow up and your distrustful of people around high places and you feel queasy. And every time your in a high place you seem to scan the room of everyone around you and suddenly your aware of your back pain. That is because that memory or energy is still locked in the body and waiting to be processed. And it can only do so if it is given time and attention. You go to a situation where everything is similar, your in a high place your around people, and so the body starts throwing up the signals of fear. Get out of there or you’ll be pushed off the ledge. You cannot get rid of the pain until you go into it. Until you train your awareness to go deep back into the body and call that part of you back. Your consciousness gets split in the moment of trauma, and in psychology this shows up as fragmentation or psychological disassociation. In order to come back you have to go back to the original trauma, the original hurt and call yourself back into the body. After you do this you will find that the pain dissipates and you feel yourself to be more whole and complete. You have called that part of your consciousness or spirit back into the body from that time and space.
You see there are many versions of you. There is practically a new you in each and every moment. This is true creation.
Identity is an illusion and a grasping of the mind. As you go throughout life you lose pieces of yourself. This is why many people feel empty after then end of a relationship and they overeat. They gave so much of their life energies to that other person and now that person is gone. They feel empty and hollow. What you need to do is callback your energies in the body. Go deep into that emptiness and then you call your energies back in.
Pain is nothing more then a signal telling you that something is wrong or lacking and needs to be given time, attention, and care. In the West we look at pain as something bad. Something to get rid off. Pain is something to be embraced, loved , and cherished because wherever we feel pain in the body that is exactly where our consciousness needs to go so we can get ourselves back! I
If we didn’t have pain we’d never know when we have lost ourselves. What most people try to do when they experience pain is they numb themselves. They’ll numb through alcohol, drugs, meaningless sex anything to distract them from pain. Your not fixing or healing the problem your just distracting yourself for a short time to take a break from the pain. Instead of running or distracting how about we go into the pain. Resolves it and find lasting peace and healing! Deepest Blessings!
