In this article I'am going to describe the concept of soul faces, talk about the integration of the personality, and then discuss the concept of the body as a medium for which the soul can express itself. We are first and foremost spirit having a temporal experience within the physical. In fact the physical itself is spirit just a denser form. Everything manmade around us first existed in the human imagination. People were inspired or in spirit and then acted on that inspiration which gave life to their mind creations in the physical. The body itself is a vehicle for this soul expression. So what is a soul face?

A soul face is an expression of spirit that comes across, through the personality, using the body as a medium.

Essentially we are all spirit. Many of the times our minds, which our constructs of our personalities, will make little judgement about people and their characters. A person gives us a bad look and we say, "They're judgmental." Maybe they're always smiling and we think, "That person is just a happy person all the time." Whenever we meet a new person we make judgments about their character and who they are. There is nothing essentially wrong with this it is the nature of being human. We "size" the person up based on our past experiences. But what we forget is that whatever piece of them we may be witnessing it is only a small portion of who they really are. Most people follow the roles that they play in society. There are doctors, fathers, mothers, lawyers, sons, uncles, grandparents. Our personalities succumb to these roles, which have to be played. But many of the times we get identified with these roles and we think that that is all there is too us, or that is all there is to another person. However, sometimes we get a bit of soul expression coming through beyond the roles. We may spot it in a glance or grim. But when we witness it we see something much deeper than our own preconceptions or notions of that person and the roles they fit into. We see something completely authentic and unconditioned. Something unfiltered. This is an expression of the soul face.

And if you've played through many of your roles in life then you might be coming to a point where you just allow your soul face to shine all the time.

Humans have evolved in a way which forces our minds to always categorize things. We categorize, people, places, objects. It's how we organize our world around us so we can better navigate it and feel in control. This has an evolutionary advantage yet at the same time it is limiting. When we first meet a person we immediately try to place them into a category. And our categories have been built upon our previous experiences with other people. This is where we can get into danger.

Our minds and the way we think about people our essentially products of everything that came before us.

We might meet something completely new and novel outside the realm of all previous experience yet we cannot realize its uniqueness because our mind places it instantly into something that we know or are familiar with. It makes us feel safe to never have to deal with anything outside the realm of what we don't know.

This is where the personality comes in. The personality is an energy form weaved onto our body through the conditioning of the past. We go through life and think about life in a specific way and this colors our experience of the world. We may visit other countries or go to other spaces but we tend to meet the same people and end up at similar spaces.

When we step into the unknown we are stepping into our soul. The personality wants the past to be constantly recreated so it can feel safe but the soul knows that reality is infinite.

And that people and oneself is infinite in its expressions. The personality plays through our bodies a majority of the time yet it is a fraction of what we truly are. Next time you categorize a person or just try to fit them into a preconceived notion or concept after having an interaction with them tell yourself that your only seeing a fraction of who they really are. There is so much more to us then we could even imagine.
