Spirit Gates: Working With Dimensions Inside Your Body

In this article I'am going to define what a spirit gate is, talk about the different spirit gates that we can access as human beings, and then give an exercise so you can start learning to work with your gates so you don't get overwhelmed.

Spirit gates are structures that are associated with the seven chakras. They are divided into two major categories: minor and major gates. There are three major spirit gates. The first corresponding to the root and and sacral chakra, the second corresponding to the heart and third eye chakras and then the seventh with the crown chakras. Many people believe that we only have seven main chakras. But this is only one system of understanding. We actually have more both above the crown chakra that can access realities that we probably wouldn't be able to explain in human terms and other ones below the root or muldhara which correspond to animal and mineral experiences. But that is for another article. The first gate is located between the kidneys and is associated with the tailbone. It runs from the tailbone to just behind the belly button. The heart spirit gate is located in the back of the heart, and the head spirit gate is located at the back of the neck just at the base.

Everyone has these spirit gates and it is through them that we get psychic and spiritual information. If you are an empath or have other psychic abilities and feel as if you get overwhelmed easy or are being to sensitive then it is important for you to learn to work with these gates so your nervous system doesn't get overwhelmed.

While gates do correspond to chakras they are more focused on particular sensitivities of a psychic which allow certain stimuli to be picked up. While chakras store information about our ancestry, past lives, and other realities that we have yet to realize. Many of the times when we feel like we have back aches and neck aches that show up as congestion it is because our gates are too open and we are getting overwhelmed by psychic information. The info is literally burning through our body. And our nervous system gets overloaded and we feel overwhelmed. If you have symptoms around these areas and always feel overwhelmed by receiving too much information then you need to work with your gates through "A Spiritual Gate Meditation." This meditation will first allow you to feel your gates, then you will practice on opening and closing them and begin to understand the respective sensations and how you feel when they are open or closed.

First sit in a comfortable position with your back erect. Start with the lowest gate in the lower back. Place your attention and focus their and imagine a set of doors there. Feel for what energy is there. Does it show up as a color? Maybe an emotion or specific sensation? Does it feel very open or very closed? Can you feel energy rushing in? If you don't know that is OK. Just imagine a set of doors there and then say to yourself, "I'am closing this gate" within your mind and then imagine the doors closing. Now what sensations do you feel? Are you getting less information through your stream of consciousness? What are the differences you notice? Now repeat this pattern except allow the doors to open. What is showing up? How is your experience changing? To you feel more open to information or closed? Do this with each one of the spiritual gates. Try closing all of them and then try opening all of them. Go to a busy place with a mix of energy such as a mall, airport, or main strip in a town and open and close your gates and see how you start to receive information. You'll find that when you close your gates your psychic stimuli will cut down and you find yourself being better able to manage things right in front of you. At the same time remember to open them at times too.

If you keep them permanently closed you close yourself off to good energies as well. If your going into a place that is questionable and you feel as if the energy there isn't good then you can choose to close your gate

s and then open them back up again when you feel like you are in a safer environment.

Eventually, this practice will become like second nature and you will have no problem opening and closing your gates and you will find yourself being more functional in your day to day life.
