Psychic Symbols

In this video I'am going to define what a psychic symbol is, share the importance of having one, and then what they can do for you along the spiritual path.

Psychic symbols are symbols that have an inherent power in them because they are embedded in the collective human psyche. Think of a psychic symbol as a key that can unlock a door to higher awareness or consciousness. Symbols have been used throughout all of millenia for various reasons. Today, in the modern world we usually use them to communicate an idea or product. Also known as branding. Symbols have inherent power. And the ones that have the most power are those symbols that have been passed down from generation to generation. Those symbols that have been embedded deeply within the collective human psyche. On the physical level we are seperate however on the psychic level we are all very much connected. Ideas bring people together just as language brings people together.

Similarly, symbols that have a lot of emotion and psychic energy invested in them have a natural sway over the human mind. Why do you think people continue to believe and trust them? Because they already have a certain amount of energy invested in them.

Ironically, one of the first symbols known in recorded history is the swastika. The swastika has long been know to be a symbol of peace and prosperity in the East. However, in the West it is seen with scorn due to Hitler's manipulation of the meaning. Hitler was invested in the occult and black arts. Many considered him to be a black magician. He knew the inherent power that the swastika had over the human psyche thus he utilized it for his own ends to gain influence and power over the masses. But how do we use symbols along the spiritual path. Symbols are keys or points of concentration that allow us to access higher states of consciousness. When your really focused on something you lose all sense of time and can enter the timeless realm. This is the purpose of having your own personal psychic symbol. When you focus on it it sucks you into another state of consciousness. The purpose of meditation is to learn to focus the mind so you can focus on progressively higher states of consciousness. You do not want to simply just close your eyes and let the mind wander or brood over issues and problems. It needs to focus on something.

The mind naturally molds itself around objects of perception. It does this on the daily around certain thoughts, people, and events. It needs to in order to survive.

That is why it is important to have a psychic symbol. A psychic symbol is like a beacon that points to the infinite. When you allow your awareness to go inward it can be very easy for your mind to get lost within the vast ocean. A symbol acts like a beacon who guides a ship safely into the shore. The symbol is not the point but rather transcendence. However, in the search for transcendence of the mind and the senses it is easy to get lost within the vast ocean of the mind. That is why it is necessary to have symbol which guides your awareness. A symbol is nearly a pointer to something much greater. Don't get lost in the symbol as many people do today.

Your symbol can be anything that you choose. The purpose of it is to focus on something which allows you to build concentration. Naturally, the mind is always searching for something. It wants to consume things. When you give it one thing to consume or focus on you begin to concentrate.

You develop laser awareness and when this is developed eventually you can focus your awareness or attention at will to other states of consciousness without the help of a symbol. Your symbol doesn't have to be a traditional symbol however such as a cross or lotus or AUM symbol. It can be something that inspires you or that your attracted to. For myself the symbol of this channel came to me clearly after I had some big life changes. I remember how much I loved the color blue and around this time is when the mystic eye bursted into my third eye.
